What we can do for you
The Edge understands that you need more than just words to help you confront the issues in your life. We are pioneers in the use of intensive athletic training combined with modern, specialised counselling techniques. The Edge clearly understands that pushing physical limits, confronting challenges, and accessing the wilderness are real needs of young men that must be met, and are critical to a successful move forward.
How We Train
A team of experienced fitness trainers has specifically designed athletic programmes for The Edge. When you arrive, you’ll be assessed by a professional to determine the right starting point for you. You’ll spend 2.5 hours each morning training in a class designed to produce accelerated results in your physical skills and ability. As you progress, you’ll “level up” through our unique sequencing programme.

Tier 1
Building fundamentals and initial evaluation
Tier 2
Adds further detail into training, focusing on advancing strength, confidence, mentality, and wellness
Tier 3
Increasing physical and mental demands; physical limits begin to be tested and pushed to achieve new levels of athletic ability
Tier 4
Culmination and competition; honing skills in a competitive, coached environment
How We Talk
When you arrive, you’ll be matched with a counsellor specifically chosen to support you throughout your stay at The Edge. They will meet with you for a one-on-one session for two hours per week to help you confront challenges, sharpen your focus, and align with your purpose. Counsellors at The Edge are professional, experienced, and dedicated to your success. You’ll also interact with other participants at The Edge in group sessions, collectively sharing challenges, gaining support, and working out next steps. These take place for seven hours over the course of a week, build a sense of community, and are often the start of lasting friendships.

Into the Wild
Located in the mountainous region of northern Thailand, The Edge offers easy access to the wilderness. All programmes include extensive hiking and trekking into the jungle. You’ll be able to experience all that the Thai outdoors have to offer through:
- Rock climbing
- Whitewater rafting
- Archery
- Ziplining
- Kayaking

Down Time
After an intense day of training, you’ll need to take time to relax and re-energise. The Edge offers two hours a week of therapeutic massage to all participants. Massage is extremely useful for relieving muscle tension and stress, and increasing flexibility and range of motion. It also alleviates insomnia, and helps to achieve focus and clarity.
You’re guaranteed to work up an appetite, so while you’re at The Edge, you’ll enjoy incredible chef-catered meals made from fresh, delicious ingredients.

You’ll be able to choose from a variety of healthy, tasty dishes, and sample some of Thailand’s unique tropical fruits at our juice and smoothie bar. We can accommodate any dietary restrictions, specially tailoring our menu to your needs.
